Christ Church Chatham is a church coming to Siler City in 2024. We seek to be a biblically faithful church where we desire to love Christ and love one another as we rescue the lost and equip the found.

ABOUT
Christ Church Chatham is a church plant in Siler City, NC led by Travis Bodine and sent out by Grace Hill Church in Pittsboro, NC. Travis served as the Senior Pastor of Rock Spring Baptist Church in Pittsboro, NC for approximately 4 years. Most recently, he has been serving as an Elder at Grace Hill Church. Travis' ministry in Chatham County has been used by God to give Travis a passion for planting healthy churches in and around Siler City, as well as giving him a love for its people. Travis and his wife, Kim, have lived in Siler City for the past two years. This time has been fruitful for building relationships and giving Gospel opportunities. They are excited about the opportunity to advance the Gospel and are aware of the need and opportunity for Christ centered churches.

Truth
God's Word is truth. We stand upon that truth in doctrine, practice, and church structure. God's word is our standard and it is sufficient.

Worship
As a gathered people, we will worship God according to His Word, and as a scattered people, we will worship God in all of life, encouraging one another to do all things to the glory of God.

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) is a call to make disciples. This is our desire: to equip God's people as they grow in Christ-likeness.
Community
Christ's people share an identity and a purpose. We strive to live out both in the community as one united people of God.

Our aim is to see the Gospel spread through personal evangelism, missions, and church planting.

WHY SILER CITY
Siler City is a town with a population near 10,000. It is mostly residential with surrounding agriculture. In the near future, two manufactuiring mega-sites will be coming to the area bringing growth and change. The town, itself, is revitalizing. New homes are being built for the people who will be filling the, roughly, 7,000 new jobs. There is also a despearate need for doctrinally faithful churches that practice evangelism and discipleship. This gives us a tremendous opportunity to impact lostness, multiply disciples, and plant new churches.
THE NEED
We are seeking ministry partners in the areas of prayer, wisdom, and finances as we build up to our launch date. Planting a church in Siler City will require both time and financial resources. Our prayer is that we are able to raise $50,000 for the initial start-up and two years of operational expenses totaling $300,000. This goal can be reached through a combination of regular monthly giving or one-time contributions. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and prayerful support.
